WORSBROUGH RESERVOIR

After a long period of being closed for bank refurbishment the reservoir is now back open again having recently been restocked with both carp and silvers.

The famous Worsbrough Reservoir has been a breeding ground to some of England’s best ever anglers and is home to the formidable Barnsley Blacks Angling Team. With a continuous stock of Carp and healthy stocks of many other species, you can enjoy the full spectrum of fishing on offer. Your Barnsley permit/day ticket entitles you to coarse fish during daylight hours, not after sunset or before sunrise. Should you wish to fish for carp after dark there are a limited number of tickets available to do so, you’ll need to contact the bailiff, Mark Trimnell on 07763 967261, who will advise you on how to obtain a night fishing permit.
